OK, this is getting a tad repetitive! Once again, the most popular sold and recycled mobile phone for September was the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic! This handset must have, a.) sold in its droves, as so many are now becoming available, and b.) not been that great in the first place as surely. otherwise, you’d be hanging on to them with a nice and cheap PAYG SIM chucked in instead?
Still, this is obviously not the case and it looks like the 5800 must be, by now, the most prevalent mobile phone in Africa!
If you were looking to sell your mobile phone in September, here’s what company you kept:
Nokia and Apple phones were dominating the sellers’ market last month. We can certainly understand the iPhone recycling, but it seems there’s never a shortage of older Nokia models to get shot of. And why not? The Top selling Nokia 5800 was fetching up to £84 – this phone’s selling price is still trending upwards so the longer you hang on to it, the more you’ll get. Until the market for it drops out of course. The same can still be said for the 6300 with it’s price on the rise. It’s a good job here at mobiles2money we have our handy price trend graph to help you see which way the price is moving. This feature alone means that mobiles2money users are likely to get even more their mobile phones than by using other mobile recycling web sites.
